Do you shoot destination weddings?

Absolutely! I adore travelling, and would love nothing more than to document you're adventures. I have lots of experience with travelling within Canada and Internationally.

Will there be a second shooter?

I primarily work alone, but in the case of there being a lot of guests attending, or multiple locations on the day of the event, then yes, there will be a second shooter!

Can I extend the session on the day of?

It will depend on the day of the event/session. If it's a wedding and you want to extend your time having me, it's $250 per hour. If you want to extend your session, it will depend if I have other commitments. If I don't, an additional 30 minutes is $120, and an additional hour is $200. Please try to ask for an extension before the day of if possible.

What kind of gear do you use?

I use two Nikon D750's with a 50mm lens and a 35mm lens.

Do I have to order prints through you?

You can order prints through me for an additional fee, but I do not supply prints within any of my packages. I give full printing rights to my clients in a written and signed contract. I can offer suggestions for great printing companies if you choose to not order prints through me. Best advice is to take a photographer's advice... don't use Walmart for printing your images.

What if I show up late to my session?

I give a 15 minute window for my clients if they show up late without a heads up. After 15 minutes, I will leave the location, and your deposit of 50% will not be refunded. If you do show up late to your session, know that there isn't always opportunities to add time on, so if you show up late by 10 minutes for your 30 minute session, you will only have 20 minutes of shooting time. Failure to show up to a session without any heads up will result in being black listed.

How does booking a session/wedding work?

Upon booking your session, give as much detail about your goal for your session. I need names, a date, a location, and your envision right off the bat. I will reply within 48 hours of your inquiry with either telling you I am booked for that date or if I am available. I will send out a "check in" email a week after your inquiry, and if I do not receive a response after that, I will assume you are no longer interested. Bookings work as first come first serve, so be on top of your emails!

Can I bring my dog?

What if the weather isn't in our favour?

I keep on top of the weather forecast leading up til the day of your session. I will offer a reschedule date based off my current availability. If you cannot work with a new date I have offered, you will not get your deposit back. I will shoot in light rain, but will not shoot in harsh elements due to the risk of damaged gear.

How many images can I expect to receive?

Every session is different and so are the outcomes. It will depend on the length of your session, as well as weather, lighting situations, and the overall nature of the day.

Should we bring anything to our session?

Heck yes! I always suggest bringing a neutral coloured blanket to use during the session, as well as any other props/items that signify your session.

We're so awkward and nervous, what do we do?

It's totally normal to feel this way leading up to your session. Remind yourselves why this is important to you, and that the session will go by really quickly.

Other tips include:
Make a playlist to play during your session full of songs you both love to jam out to.
Pick or have a suggested private location for your session.
Bring alcohol... nothing like some liquid courage!

How long does it take to receive a gallery?

It depends on the season you have your event/session in. During off season (January to May) you can receive your gallery between 1-2 weeks, while a wedding will be 3-4 weeks. In high season (June to December) your gallery will be delivered between 2-3 weeks and your wedding gallery will be 6-8 weeks.
