Autumn Liggett Photo is a documentary and loose editorial wedding + lifestyle photographer serving Ottawa, the Ottawa Valley and beyond. While most of my work is based out of Ottawa, I will travel just about anywhere — domestic or internationally. With nearly 10 years in business, over 200 weddings shot, and 500+ lifestyle sessions documented, rest assured I am experienced in all things photography. I adore bringing your milestones to life with a timeless, storytelling approach that will allow you to relive the authentic moments with a nostalgic feeling. You won’t be left wondering what to do with your hands or how to pose. I guide you when needed, step back when it matters, and keep things feeling easy the entire time I am with you.

My now husband and I met Autumn at our friends wedding in Mexico where she was the photographer. We knew right away that we would use her for our wedding one day. Fast forward, we did our engagement shoot with her and then 2 years later it was our wedding day. Our timeline was a little crazy and she was so accommodating and happy to work with us. Day of, Autumn made my partner and I feel so comfortable and chill amongst all of the chaos. We were absolutely blown away by the amount and quality of the pictures!!! She even included some film pictures that turned out amazing. She is so professional and a true gem to work with! We are so glad that we chose her to shoot our special day and can’t recommend her enough!

I had the pleasure of having Autumn photograph my university graduation portraits and from that moment I knew she would be the only one I would want to photograph my future wedding. So when the time came, we had Autumn photograph both our engagement and our wedding. Autumn brought a light and bubbly spirit to our day and captured every moment that was special to us. She made everyone feel comfortable, and we are so honoured to have had her for our day. To say we love, the photos is an understatement! Autumn truly does amazing work, and if you are looking for someone who has an eye for the little details, and the sweet moments we honestly cannot recommend anyone better. Autumn gave us memories that we will be able to cherish for the rest of our lives, and for that we are grateful.

Autumn travelled with us to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to capture pictures of our wedding and the photos turned out amazing!! Autumn was so easy to work with and travel with she fit in with our group just perfectly! We have used autumn for multiple sessions now and she makes us feel natural and comfortable during each session. We never feel awkward with autumn, we just love her bubbly personality!

Where do I even start!! Autumn is such a sweet soul. My Husband and I had to pleasure and honour of having Autumn photograph our engagement and wedding photos. Her easing going attitude and kindness could make the shyest of people feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is full of amazing ideas and photo inspiration. Legit every single photo I have from Autumn is frame worthy. We are so blessed to have these memories captured in such a beautiful way. We cannot wait to cherish these photos for years to come. My husband and I will never be able to thank Autumn enough for the incredible work she has done in capturing our engagement and our wedding. I don’t know where to start and how to keep this review short enough so everyone will know that they absolutely need to hire Autumn for the next time they want their special memories captured! From the moment we met Autumn, she was more like a friend then just a random photographer here to take photos. We had Autumn the first time for our engagement photos. I was nervous as I normally don’t like seeing my self in photos and/or how to look/act, my husband (fiancée at the time) is the exact same. When Autumn arrived she immediately welcomed us and our doggo and made the entire process simple and SO fun! There was 0 complaints from my husband the entire time and all our of photos were absolutely breath taking. Fast forward and Autumn was our photographer for our wedding. I’m not sure how to put in to words how amazing our wedding day was and a big part of it was because of her. She was so fun and yet kept us on time so easily. Each person that had there photo taken by Autumn that day had a little laugh and reminded me that I picked the best photographer! She had so many fabulous ideas which I appreciated as I think we all get use to being in front of a camera and posing with a smile. Autumn catches all the memorable moments of your day. The little cheek kisses, the laughs i between conversation, hugs and excitement in everyone’s eyes! We have only received our sneak peek at this point but I already know the rest will be just as speechless. My husband is the one saying we’ll have Autumn take our photos. You know you found the right photographer when your husbands excited for more pictures! I could honestly go on and on with more reasons to hire Autumn, but I would take up her entire page. We cannot wait to have Autumn photograph our next memories!

I can't recommend Autumn enough! She captured our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. She was so helpful and responsive while coordinating all of our details, and asked us great questions we hadn't even thought to ask each other about how we wanted our day to play out. She was so helpful on our day, and she made us feel comfortable and at ease the whole way through. We adore her photography style, and feel so lucky to have all the genuine, candid moments that she captured. Her turnaround time for both sneaks and our final gallery was BEYOND impressive - the best wedding gift ever! We couldn't be happier to have such beautiful photos to cherish and share with our people. Looking forward to working with her again and again!

We had the pleasure of meeting Autumn for our engagement photos and we were SO extremely pleased and satisfied with her work ethic, her talents, and also just her as a person! Thankfully we also had her for our recent wedding, and it was an absolute dream. Autumn makes you feel beyond comfortable in front of the camera, and is extremely personable.. it is as if you have known her forever. We got our photos back promptly and cried all over again looking through them. Her photos captured every single emotion, and brought us right back to our special day. We could not recommend her enough for all your photography needs.. you will NOT be disappointed. We are already looking forward to the next time we can book her!

From our initial conversations to our engagement session to our wedding day and then the quick delivery of our photos, Autumn has been an absolute dream and pleasure to work with. We wanted a relaxed, casual feeling to both our photos and our wedding day and Autumn went above and beyond to capture exactly that. She took our ideas and suggestions in stride while guiding us throughout the process with professionalism and kindness. I don’t even know where to begin with the review. Autumn is kind, funny, easy going, understanding, she is no nonsense photographer. From timely and easy communication, to amazing photographs - Autumn literally checks all the boxes. One of the biggest wishes for my wedding day was to have her documenting all our special moment, thankfully I secured her for our date. She followed our schedule, and helped keep us on schedule, helped us make sure we got exactly the photos we wanted, and was also helpful when we weren’t really sure what we wanted. Now I’m not extremely good with words, or writing reviews but I can whole heartedly tell you, you will not regret getting Autumn to be your photographer. She goes above and beyond for her clients and produces amazing work. Autumn, thank you again for all you did for Grant and I on our special day. We will forever be grateful- and we will cherish our photos for the rest of our lives.

Autumn shot our engagement shoot last September! With never having professional photos taken of ourselves before, she immediately helped eliminate awkwardness with small prompts that helped with comfortability around the camera! She is truly talented at what she does, finding the most picturesque photo spots & knowing exactly when that golden hour glow is going to hit! She is also very in tune with the weather, knowing what conditions will photo well and which will not, but most importantly putting the well being of her clients before anything else! we were scheduled originally on an awfully humid/hot day, she was kind enough to reach out & offer an alternate date to avoid any health risks from the heat and some potential sweaty looking photos lol! We had a long hike up and down from our photo location, which allowed us to have some great chats & really get to connect with Autumn, not only is her work amazing but she is also such a lovely individual as well which makes working with her an even more enjoyable experience! Having this pre-wedding shoot helped us better understand her shooting style & gave us a feel on how we will work together on our big day! We can’t wait to work with Autumn again this fall at our wedding & anticipate some really beautiful photos of the day telling a story from start to finish with her documentary style approach! We did A LOT of research on photographers before booking, and I will say that Autumn’s social media presence had a big help in choosing her as our photographer! Without having actually met her in person, the way she portrays herself and her work on her socials made us immediately feel a sense of comfortability! Her fun and bubbly personality shows through her socials, and while there is no doubt her work is incredible, she also shares a personal side of herself & her life that made us feel like we already kind of knew her, this solidified our decision that much more! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Autumn. She photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and we are beyond grateful we had the opportunity to work with her. From the very beginning, Autumn was incredibly kind, positive, and genuinely supportive. My now husband and I can be pretty awkward in front of the camera, but she immediately put us at ease and made the experience feel natural and fun. Her documentary style allowed us to truly be ourselves while she effortlessly captured both the big, emotional moments and the quiet, meaningful details in between. Autumn did our engagement and elopement sessions and not only is she professional and a joy to be around, but WOW her work is extraordinary. Before our engagement session with Autumn, my partner and I had never had professional photography done so I felt a bit awkward going into it, but given her many years in the industry she was able to give us tips and tricks to just be us and not focus on the camera. Her style is truly unique and she is able to capture small details that make each individual session special. Fast forward to our elopement and we knew we were able to focus on enjoying our day. Not only did Autumn deliver beautiful images, but she was able to capture the essence of the day that others are able to feel through the photographs. We are so grateful we get to continually relive the memories of this day that you captured.
