Editorial City Elopement, Pembroke Ontario.

Payton and Isaac wanted a simple celebration but also wanted elevated portraits they could look back on. After they eloped at city hall in Pembroke, they went back to their apartment to change into their elopement attire to have a first look. We photographed their first time seeing each other dressed up at the iconic courthouse building, and from there the portraits began. We finished their portraits off at the Pembroke Golf Course, somewhere they love to spend their time together. The sun came out near the end of shooting, and I took that opportunity to play around with the harsh lighting. I genuinely loved how simple their elopement was, and how their photos came out in such an editorial way.
