At the end of August, I had the pleasure of capturing a truly stunning wedding at Calabogie Peaks Resort. With its picturesque views and charming atmosphere, the resort served as the perfect backdrop for Taylor and Kelsey's special day.
One of the highlights of the wedding was undoubtedly the adorable presence of Ace, the couple's beloved furry friend. With a dapper bow tie, Ace stole the hearts of everyone in attendance. His playful energy and infectious excitement added an extra touch of cuteness to the already love filled day. Of course, no wedding is complete without the perfect dress, and Kelsey's choice was nothing short of magnificent. She donned a breathtaking gown by Made With Love — a personal favourite designer of mine!
As the reception commenced, guests were in for a unique treat—a talented cartoonist was present, capturing the evening's unforgettable moments. The artist's live sketches added an extra layer of entertainment and personalized charm to the celebration, leaving guests in laughter! To kick off the night in style, Taylor's brother's band took the stage, igniting a vibrant atmosphere that would carry on throughout the evening. Their infectious energy and incredible talent had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along to every beat.
But perhaps the most enchanting part of the day came during the dreamy golden hour at the top of the peaks. We had the pleasure of whisking Taylor and Kelsey away from the hustle and bustle of the festivities to capture some truly breathtaking images against the backdrop of a setting sun. The golden light was pure MAGIC.
